It is vitally important during the COVID-19 pandemic that we take all precautions to ensure the health and safety of our clients, families, volunteers and staff. With that being said, we are closing our office to honor social distancing and we are cancelling all gatherings and/or community events until further notice.

Our services may still be accessed by referral, by cell: 250-392-5435 or by e-mail:

On behalf of the Volunteers, Board and staff, of WLHS,

We would like to Thank the Mayor & City Council for giving us the opportunity to change how we proceeded with this event, the staff of City Hall for all their support and keeping an eye on things there, the WL & District Credit Union for their generous sponsorship of this event, the WL Tribune for recording and helping us get this into your living rooms, Everyone that participated in making this event possible during these uncertain times.

And most of all we thank all of you for taking the time to come to City hall to enter your loved one’s name into our ‘In Memory’ book, add an ornament to the ‘Memory Tree’ and your continued support for Hospice.

The Memory Tree will be set up in the City Hall foyer until the end of December, please feel free to stop by, to place an ornament on the tree, take a moment to reflect and remember your loved one or drive by the lit Hospice tree outside of City Hall.

The Memory Tree Event has always been an opportunity to take a moment to slow down, take time out of our busy schedulesand remember our family, loved ones and friends who have passed away.

We hope that this year, even though it is presented differently, that you find some comfort in viewing this recording and know that our thoughts are with you.
